Glacier Peak from the north.







The fall colors were very beautiful. The reds are huckleberry bushes.







Lots of color. A week later the needles of one species of pine tree (western larch) began to change color, adding a golden yellow color to the landscape, so beautiful!

We ate lunch with this view of Glacier Peak. You can see Noah up ahead on the trail.

The trail often traversed very steep slopes. This part probably wouldn't be too safe with snow on the ground, but that didnt stop George. This ridge and three feet of snow did though.
